Coaching

Chelsey Tidmarsh

Chelsey has dedicated her life to sport. She says that nothing feels better than reaching a goal that she has strived for, whatever that may be. A rugby knee injury, followed by surgery, led her to the wonderful sport of paddling, ten years ago. She fell in love with the water and team atmosphere and has since had, what she calls, the privilege of representing her country, all over the world.

She believes that a balance of effort and heart are needed for any team to be successful. Her two children have taught her to embrace the moment, live in the ‘now’, and to always be grateful. She will bring a great amount of energy to our group of special women. She feels honoured to be coaching our team.

Alexis Hill

Alexis started paddling in 2019 and has been in love with the sport ever since. She enjoys the competitive atmosphere and team spirit offered by the Dragonboat community.

Her involvement in Dragonboat and work in rehabilitation led her to volunteer as a coach for Sistership. Alexis hopes to contribute to the energy and power Sistership fosters on and off the water.
