My dear ladies of Sistership,
What a glorious surprise I had when Joanie came to visit on Saturday. A basket filled with cards, wine, a whimsical stuffy cacti (no watering required) Mohair wrap, mints etc.
Could not believe the amount of cards and it took three days to open and read. Such beautiful words, memories and thoughts of me. I was touched in my heart. Thank you all.
Sometimes in life one wonders if one is remembered and I have been blessed to know that it is true for me.
It was so exciting to see the medals, jersey for the Canadian team and the video of the winning races. The stroke and glide of the boat is absolutely amazing to see. Ask Joanie to view, as you won’t see that often and shows the high caliber of the team. It’s a WOW!!!
I will be thinking of you all this weekend and your racing as I cannot make it this year. Such is life.
